A Night of Dope Shit

Saturday April 14th @ The Elbo Room- Come see a handful of Chicago’s best performers do their thing in a Night of Dope Shit, brought to you by Cute Plus Awful.

A Night of Dope Shit

Show starts @ 8, $5 cover – all proceeds go to The People’s Music School. For more info visit www.peoplesmusicschool.org.

Performers include
Host Steph Charaska – Comedian, storyteller, hometown gal, event curator, and Resident Jill of All Trades about town. Follow her adventures @char.darling on Instagram.

Cute Plus Awful – Two songwriters working together to make good music while addressing their neuroses. They make one another a little cuter, and a little more awful.

Leah Jean – Singer-songwriter. Haunting vocals and harmonies soar over moody backdrops, staying with you far beyond the final note.

Red 255 – Flamenco/metal band featuring Eduardo Mandujano on flamenco guitar/cajon and Ewa Sarota-Raczek on violin. Get ready to dance.

Trilt Siboy – He writes dope hip-hop, he tells amazing stories, and there’s a chance he’s pretty crazy. He’ll make you laugh, dance, and think all in one.

Ross Berman – Songwriter, storyteller, and intellectual force to reckoned with. He’s a regular performer for Shithole and Paper Machete, not to mention a wrestling journalist (journalist who covers wrestling – we’re pretty sure he doesn’t wrestle).

Arlo Chapple-Berletic – Arlo’s Mutant Moments / VVR – As entertaining as he is ineffable. Arlo will mine our humdrum brains for gems, polish ’em, and throw ’em into the sky where they’ll shine like stars.

Come and join us all for a few drinks and some great performances!
